i no longer know where home is

Two songs today.

Summer is inkling around the corner, school's almost out, my Facebook wall is drowning in wedding photos and, a few crazy weeks aside, I'm pretty much on the home stretch until an August in Burma. I miss Asia so much the ache of it is under my skin. H took me to an Indonesian restaurant for my birthday - Djarkata Bali, one of just two Indonesian restaurants here - and if I didn't look outside into the glorious grey skies of Paris, I could almost pretend I was there again, minus 20 degrees in heat or so. Which was wonderful, but only proceeded to make me miss my other home even more. It's a curious thing, this constant footloose homesick melange. But Asia calls again, finally, finally. And after walking back and forth past Princesse Tam Tam about 60 times, I figured I should probably just save my energy for the gym and throw this month's salary into bikinis. While I was in there, they were playing song A.
